History of Zheda Alumni Network

2008 - Present: Guowen Lu , President.

• On May 9th, 2008, launched a rebuilt website. The re-engineered website not only has more professional look, but also has added more functionalities, such as Alumni Directory, Blogs and Forums. It has set up a platform for alumni around the world to exchange collective ideas and share resources. Please referred to old website for historical event.

• On June 2nd, 2008, formed a Board of 5 Directors (alphabet order): Yongping Duan, James Li, Guowen Lu, Kevin Ye, Wei Zhou.

2004 - 2007: Kevin Ye, President. The major events under his tenure:

• Sucessfully organized a performance by the WenQin Art Troupe from Zhejiang University at Dinkelspiel Auditorium, Stanford Unversity.

• Organized a 2006 Summer Camp for North America Zheda Alumni Kids, hosted by Zhejiang University.

• Annual Spring and Fall BBQ party for Zheda alumni around Bayarea.

2001 - 2003: Jianming Qiao, President

1999 - 2000: Zhifeng Dong, President

            1998: Yangbin Wang, President

• Started Zheda Alumni Network organization with other several alumni, Jianming Qiao, Willie Lu, Jerry Yang, Jian Lu, and etc.
