Senior Systems Engineer

 
Position Profile
 
This individual will help support sales activities in a pre and post-sales technical role serving both the Systems Engineering, Business Development and potential customers by managing the technical implementation process from requirements analysis through successful installation and acceptance.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction and working with emerging technology. 
 
Essential Functions
 
Performing the installation, configuration and demonstration of Wichorus full product line.
Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to Major Customer Accounts and OEMS.
Developing analytical solutions and implementing actions required to solve sales issues.
Providing communication to Sales personnel and Management and escalating concerns when appropriate.
Qualifying prospects based on technical assessment of customer requirements.
Assisting in the roll-out of complex system integration projects.
Managing and conducting technical training to customers/partners.
Working with cross-functional departments to provide relevant customer feedback to the product development process.
Serving as liaison between the Customer, Field Operations and Engineering for problem resolution.
 
Job Requirements
 
BS in CS, related field or equivalent experience required
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
Ability to travel.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Maturity, credibility and experience to effectively represent Wichorus and our technology.
 
Preferred Experience
 
Router Networking products (CCIE or equivalent or related)
Top to bottom networking infrastructure experience
TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and other networking protocols
IP mobility, Wimax, LTE (but this can be picked up)
 
Years of Experience
 
Requires at least 10 years related industry experience.
