2009 Zheda Alumni Pizza Party and Volleyball games for Moon Festival/Guoqin Celebration
Dear Alumni,
We will have a Pizza party around 12:00pm on 9/27, Sunday, at Fremont Central Park, 40100 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538. This would be a wonderful day for outdoor enjoyment, as there will be so many different activities during that day. We will prepare Pizza, Mooncake, and drinks, however, a $10/adult and $5/child fee would be charged to cover the expense. Also, for headcount purpose to prepare foods, please signup at the end of this page.
Starting around 4:00pm, there would be Moon Festival/Guoqing Celebration co-organized by many Chinese communities at the same park. Outdoor Children games will start around 2:30pm.
We Need Volleyball players to play at "Guoqing Cup" Volleyball games. If you like play volleyball games, please let us know by sending an email to zheda.alumni@gmail.com. The games are mainly for fun and only basic skills required. Games starts at 10:30am , and we also would like more alumni show up there earlier as cheerleaders :-). At last year' game, alumni got a lot of fun by either playing or just cheerleading (http://www.zhedaalumni.org/cms/zd5/node/event/MoonFestival2008).

《北加州华人联盟》欢庆中秋佳节及“十一”国庆60周年联欢活动

一年一度的欢庆中秋佳节及“十一”国庆联欢活动,已经成为旧金山湾区庆祝活动的一个传统项目。于今年国庆60周年之际，由上百个硅谷华人团体，包括校友会、科技协会、同乡会、合唱团、舞蹈团等参与的“北加州华人联盟”将于九月二十七日星期天在 Fremont Central Park 的 Performance Pavilion 隆重推出欢庆国庆及中秋联欢活动。地址是: 40100 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538。
上午十点半开始到下午四点半,精彩的“国庆杯排球大赛”非常值得观看。多路英雄豪杰将捉队厮杀，相信您一定不愿意错过给自己的亲朋好友助威加油的机会。 同时,各个本地的专业组织，联谊团体以及校友会也将在现场搭台, 向广大公众介绍自己组织的情况。
下午2点就开始的少儿游艺活动, 节目内容丰富多彩，您将会看到我们不但有Jump house, Face painting, 更为小朋友们准备了钓鱼, 套圈, 呼啦圈比赛等等有奖活动。在这些传统活动之外，今年还增加了有奖猜谜语和新的体育技能性比赛游戏。
今年的文艺演出时间为下午四点到六点半。除了广受欢迎的男、女声独唱、还有新颖的表演唱，气势磅礴的大合唱 。有京剧艺术家的传统京剧和样板戏选段，数十人表演的大型歌舞，独特的民族舞，活泼可爱的少儿舞，配合的天衣无缝的双人舞，有场面浩大的民族乐器合奏，也有令人耳目一新的独奏。相信这些精彩的节目将给您带来欢乐。
欢庆中秋佳节及“十一” 国庆联欢会会场将设在 Fremont Central Park 内，美丽的伊丽莎白湖畔的表演舞台(Performance Pavilion), 蓝天作背景，绿茵为坐席，让您及家人朋友观赏多姿多彩的节目同时，舒适地享受户外美景。

9月27日，有近70校友和家属参加了这次在Frement Central Park 举行的庆中秋，迎国庆活动。并参加了“国庆杯”排球比赛。由于是中午，大家只好在太阳底下品尝美味的月饼；虽然缺少了一些诗情画意，但也表明了校友的思乡之心跟太阳一样红。还有很多校友见到了多年未见的老师和朋友。
浙大校友排球队也打得比去年好，只是我们的小组对手实在太过强大。随着以后参加比赛越来越多，配合越来越好，浙大校友排球队也会越来越强。校友第二代也已开始对校友队作出贡献。Anna Zheng的女儿Karen为这次排球比赛出了很大的力。
